To Create a New Item

1. Click Inventory on the navigation bar

2. From the drop-down menu select Create Item button and the Create New Item page is displayed:

   1. Enter Item Description

   2. Select Default Location (where items are usually stored)

   3. Select the Vendor the Item is purchased from

   4. Select the sub-type

   5. Select V.A.T.

   6. Select Unit of Measure

   7. Enter Average Cost

   8. Select Outlet (if required)

   9. Create Item button to create the item

      

Note: Please note all fields displayed on the page are required.

To Search, Edit and View the Inventory List

1. Click Inventory on the navigation bar

2. From the drop-down menu select Inventory List button and the Inventory List is displayed:

   • Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code

   • Search for items by Type

   • View Disabled Items

   • Apply Filters button to search for items

   • Actions button to Export the Inventory List (if required)

     

3. To edit an item on the Inventory List, select the Edit Item button and the Edit Item page is displayed:

   1. Change Item Description

   2. Add Alternate Item Number

   3. Add Secondary Code

   4. Change Sub-Type

   5. Change V.A.T. amount

   6. Change Default Location

   7. Change Default Vendor

   8. Change Unit of Measure (UOM)

   9. Add Minimum Stock (Par Levels)

   10. Enable/Disable Case Conversions (if required)

   11. Enter Case Sum (if required)

   12. Enter Alias Description (if required)

   13. Select Alias UOM (if required)

   • Update button to save

   • Disable button to disable items

   • Enable button to enable items

     

4. Item can also be searched via the Locations and Cost Centers buttons .

5. On the Locations page users can:

   • Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code

   • Select the Location

   • Search Items with zero stock

   • Apply Filters button to search for items

   • Reset Filter button to remove all filters

   • Edit Item button to adjust item quantity on hand

     

6. On the Cost Centers page users can:

   • Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code

   • Select the Cost Centre

   • Search Items with zero stock

   • Enter Par Levels

   • Apply Filters button to search for items

   • Reset Filter button to remove all filters
