**INVENTORY**

**To Create a New Item**
-----------------------


1.	Click **Inventory** on the navigation bar

2.	From the drop-down menu select **Create Item** button |create_item|  and the Create New Item page is displayed:

	A.	Enter Item Description
	B.	Select Default Location (where items are usually stored)
	C.	Select the Vendor the Item is purchased from
	D.	Select the sub-type																			
	E.	Select V.A.T. 
	F.	Select Unit of Measure
	G.	Enter Average Cost
	H.	Select Outlet (if required)
	I.	**Create Item** button to create the item

**To Search, Edit and View the Inventory List**
-----------------------------------------------

1.	Click **Inventory** on the navigation bar

2.	From the drop-down menu select **Inventory List** |inventory_list| button and the Inventory List is displayed:

	- Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code
	- Search for items by Type
	- View Disabled Items
	- **Apply Filters** button to search for items	
	- **Actions** button to Export the Inventory List (if required)

3.	To edit an item on the Inventory List, select the **Edit Item** |Edit_Button| button and the Edit Item page is displayed:

	A.	Change Item Description
	B.	Add Alternate Item Number
	C.	Add Secondary Code
	D.	Change Sub-Type
	E.	Change V.A.T. amount
	F.	Change Default Location
	G.	Change Default Vendor
	H.	Change Unit of Measure (UOM)
	I.	Add Minimum Stock (Par Levels)
	J.	Enable/Disable Case Conversions (if required)
	K.	Enter Case Sum (if required)
	L.	Enter Alias Description (if required)
	M.	Select Alias UOM (if required) 
	
	- **Update** button to save 
	- **Disable** button to disable items 
	- **Enable** button to enable items

4.	Item can also be searched via the **Locations** |locations_button| and **Cost Centers** buttons |cost_centers_button|.


5.	On the **Locations** page users can:

	- Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code 
	- Select the Location 
	- Search Items with zero stock
	- **Apply Filters** button to search for items
	- **Reset Filter** button to remove all filters
	- **Edit Item** button to adjust item quantity on hand

6.	On the **Cost Centers** page users can:

	- Search for items by SKU, by Description or by QEH Code 
	- Select the Cost Centre 
	- Search Items with zero stock
	- Enter Par Levels
	- **Apply Filters** button to search for items
	- **Reset Filter** button to remove all filters
